Hello all, this is my review of the Tenta-X Octo-Sense The Last Stand (Limited Edition):
Big reviewers on YouTube have reviewed this pad like AimAdapt, Riottt, Jigsaw, Jaeky, and others, so check out what they have to say about this pad as their experience may vary.

Disclaimer: Tenta-X sent this pad for review purposes. I have been using this pad since receiving it (over 2 weeks). Despite receiving this pad from Tenta-X, my opinion will not be influenced, and the review is solely based on my experience.

Now let's dive into the review:
Test Mouse - Razer Viper Mini Sig w/ Razer Glass Skates | Ninjutso Sora V2 w/ RS 2 Skates | Gwolves HTS+ 4K w/ Ghostglides Cyclones (Proto) Test Mouse - HTS+4K with Obsidian skates SIZE: The Octo Sense pad only comes in the 49x42 sizing with 3.5 thickness. At the moment, the Octo sense series is not being carried in different sizes.
LOOKS: The pad has an amazing design - pictured above. The artwork is different compared to brands. No waifu. Pictures on websites do not do justice to how clean this mousepad is in person. I like this design and it’s something that I can rock with.
PRICE: From a Canadian point of view, this pad is priced at 92.22 CAD shipped to Ontario from Amazon; it is on the pricier side of things. However, we as Canadians do not have many options for premium pads; we either need to import it from the USA/Japan/Sweden and then have to pay import fees/high shipping rates or hope for Amazon/Canadian retailers carrying the item. That being said, this pad feels premium and high quality. However, it is understandable that the higher price is because of the exchange rate, shipping cost, and import fee.

"ApexGrip Tech" Poron-like base
STITCHING/BASE: The pad features this base called ApexGrip Tech, which is a Poron-like base. During my testing, I did not have any issues with it sliding around or not sticking to my desk. I did not have to clean my desk; I took it out of its box and slapped it on my desk; it stuck to it with no problem. No complaints about the base. Softness-wise; it is plush and provides a little of cushioning when I push down on the pad but not too soft where my mouse felt like it was sinking and digging when there was pressure added.
The stitching looks great all around. I did not have any fraying/loose stitching anywhere. I checked throughout my pad to see if I could find any stitching imperfections - though my copy was flawless. The below-the-surface stitching is nice as when I am gaming, I have a sweater on. During the testing, I did not feel like my sweater was catching on the pad.

Disclaimer: During the testing phase - I used 3 different mice that had different skates. List of mice used:Razer Viper Mini SE - with Razer Glass Feet (came w/ the SE), Ninjutso Sora V2 with Rennsport 2, and Gwolves HTS+ 4K with Ghostglides Cyclones (Proto)
PACKAGING: This pad came flat shipped in a regular brown box with the Tenta-X logo on the front. My copy came from Amazon so it was flat double boxed. No issues with it laying flat upon unboxing.
PERFORMANCE/SURFACE: The performance of this pad was amazing. During the testing, I played through a variety of games ranging from Valorant, Overwatch, COD, Helldivers, etc. Performance was pretty consistent.
The pad’s surface is using jacquard fabric which is not as rough, also is great to the touch and comfortable. The mousepad offers a nice glide across/throughout the pad but also it allows the user to have stopping power when needed. This pad is classified as a hybrid control pad, which is something that I can agree with. Overall, the faster glide with control is a brilliant mix.
TLDR :
During the testing phase of The Last Stand, I used Razer Viper Mini Sig w/ Razer Glass Skates | Ninjutso Sora V2 w/ RS 2 Skates | Gwolves HTS+ 4K w/ Ghostglides Cyclones (Proto)
Size: 490x420mm with 3.5mm thickness.
Design: Amazing design; It does remind me of a main character levitating off. No other colors available that does not have the design.
Price: CAD 92.22 (shipped, incl. tax) | USD 45.73 (incl. tax, free shipping to USA)
Stitching/Base: Tight, high - quality stitching; did not experience any fraying. ApexGrip Tech (poron-like) base prevents sliding.
Packaging: Flat shipped in a box brown with Tenta-X logo. Includes protective bag.
Surface: "Control/Hybrid" pad with some speed offering similar to a Venus Pro. Firm, has good stopping power; can easily dig in on pad if needed for stopping.
